On Sunday 21st February, 1pm, the Tamion Oasis of OTO will be hosting the first in a series of Yoga and Meditation study groups, designed to cover a wide variety of techniques from pranayama, asana, and pratyahara, to yama and ni-yama, mettabhavana, and more! These techniques, although coming from the Indian traditions, are vitally important for modern Western magickal practitioners as they train the mind and body and allow the practitioner better control over both, improving the health of mind, body and spirit.
This first session will start simple, covering the basics of body and mind control, basic breathing techniques, and exploring the use of these techniques to the magickal practitioner.
This study group is open to everybody who is interested – you don’t have to be an initiate of OTO to come along! The study group is free to attend, but please bring some small snacks or drinks to share afterwards (some of the practices should be done on an empty stomach!)
To attend, please contact us for further information.
On Sunday February 7th, at 1pm, the Tamion OTO will be hosting an open study group for anybody who wishes to attend. This study group will focus on Kabbalah and Hermetic Magick Techniques, taking attendees from basics to more advanced techniques on a monthly basis.
This month’s session will explain, demonstrate, and practice one of the foundational rituals of Hermetic magick – the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram. We’ll cover some of the theory behind it’s various parts, the God names, the vibrating of words of power, visulization, and more. This session will also introduce the basic principles of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life, how it can be used in practical magick and how it is used to create a magickal universe.
This is quite an informal study group, so please feel free to bring some small snacks or (non-alcoholic!) drinks to share. There is also no cost to attend, but if you have never visited us before and are interested in coming, please contact us for venue details.

There will also be the opportunity for those who wish to formally join our Church to partake of the Sacrament of Baptism, and for those who are already baptised to become Confirmed. Note that these Sacraments are available to non-O.T.O. members as well as O.T.O. members.
Those attending the Mass that are Confirmed members of E.G.C. should bring their white robes to wear.
Please arrive promptly as late comers will not be admitted to the temple.

Bishop Tau Orpheus presents a training workshop for O.T.O. members with a vocation to work as Novice Clergy within the E.G.C. Places are limited to O.T.O. initiates who have a strong desire to work as officers within the Gnostic Mass or who are already doing so.
The class will begin with building up the temple and a full performance of the Gnostic Mass will be held after the class which members are also encouraged to attend.
If you are able to bring with you a copy of the Gnostic Mass text this would be extremely helpful. It can be found online with extremely informative annotations by Soror Helena and Tau Apiryon at http://www.hermetic.com/sabazius/gnostic_mass.htm
Attendees are also encouraged to bring their own white robe.
If you would like to attend then please contact us in advance for full details.
There will be a feast and business meeting at our Cardiff location on November 7. All initiated members of the Order are welcome to attend – we’d love to see as many people as possible from the South West area, since we’ll be laying out plans for the next months activities. If you would like to come, please RSVP for details, or leave a message on our Facebook page.
As the name would suggest, please bring a pot of food to add to the pile!
On Saturday July 18 Tamion Camp hosted First Degree initiations at our Cardiff location. With three chartered initiators and several other officers working around the clock, twelve Minervals from Tamion Camp, Sheesah-Naaga Camp, and Mihrab Camp entered the ranks of our Order as full initiates. Many thanks to the Brethren who attended, many of whom travelled a long way; and special thanks to those who cooked delicious food throughout the day to keep everyone’s bodies sustained.
